Wade champions science by
helping researchers tell their stories
Wade provides expert guidance to faculty members and postdoctoral fellows who are writing guest essays and op-eds about their research. These guest essays are published in national and international media, including The Conversation. Wade also coaches researchers and helps them prepare for print, television and radio interviews.
Helping the public understand what McMaster scientists do and how their work benefits society is a critical mission in and of itself. It also helps to show that public and private investments in research are well placed, and builds interest and pride in our university overall.
