Joe champions science with the
McCall MacBain Postdoctoral Fellows Teaching & Leadership Program
Joe founded the made-at-McMaster program that has helped dozens of postdoctoral fellows hone their communication, teaching and leadership skills. Postdocs in the year-long and one-of-a-kind program write opinion columns and give public talks about their research. Many of the postdocs have had their opinion columns published in The Conversation Canada.
Science communication and critical thinking are the intellectual tools we can use to to separate the signal from the noise in our crowded digital world and identify the signal with an evidence-based approach.
