Katie champions science with
Science Stories
Katie is the driving force behind Science Stories. Twice a year, Katie organizes in-person and virtual talks with acclaimed science journalists, authors, illustrators, photographers and other storytellers who bring science to life. Katie is also actively involved in the planning and development of a Master’s degree program in science communications at McMaster University.
Science communication connects us and reminds us that science is for everyone. It can inform, inspire and ignite positive change in our communities and there's no better way to engage folks with science than through storytelling.
