Abhiti worked with students in her Demystifying Medicine class to create a series of science videos on YouTube. The videos shared scientific knowledge using simple language that everyone can easily understand. Viewers can engage in conversations through the comments section and download research papers posted in the video descriptions.
Communication and outreach help people better understand the important work being done by scientists. That understanding can lead to increased support for research.
