Jeremy champions science at the
W.J. McCallion Planetarium
Jeremy introduces the far reaches of the galaxy to our next generation of scientists. Jeremy is part of the team of planetarium presenters who deliver custom tours to community members of all ages. McMaster’s planetarium was the first in Ontario to offer public shows in 1950.
Science outreach is important because astronomy can often seem inaccessible to many people. I do outreach to help make science easier to understand for everyone and to bring science to as wide and diverse an audience as possible. Through this, I hope to inspire a new generation of astronomers.
