Anita champions science with the
McMaster's Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Initiative
Anita is one of the student leaders volunteering with the McMaster Women in Science & Engineering Initiative. WISE plays a key role in supporting, celebrating and advocating for diversity at McMaster and beyond the university through community outreach, mentorship and conferences.
Communication is essential for sharing such an incredible wealth of scientific knowledge with our communities. Communication also empowers our next generations of scientists to step up and become science champions. Through sharing their research findings, scientists foster curiosity and deepen an appreciation for how we perceive, understand and engage with the world around us.
