NEW LOOK FOR PACE: The McMaster Physical Activity Centre of Excellence has a new and easier-to-navigate website courtesy of the Office of the Associate Dean, Research & External Relations and McMaster’s Marketing team. Website redesigns are also underway for the Faculty of Science’s four other research centres and institutes – the McMaster Centre for Climate Change, the Biointerfaces Institute, McMaster Institute for Music and the Mind and the Origins Institute.

Along with a new website has introduced virtual memberships while the centre remains closed due to the pandemic. Members get unlimited access to PACE – LIVE! AT HOME classes on Zoom. The classes are run by qualified health care professionals who’ve had training to work with people who have varied abilities and complex health histories. Classes are modified for different fitness levels, as well as for people with chronic conditions and accessibility requirements. Memberships are $75 for unlimited classes between March 1 and May 31 and can be ordered by calling the PACE Reception Desk at 905.525.9140 ext. 27223.
