Description: Health Physics is interdisciplinary, bridging the fields of medicine, biology, engineering and physical science. It provides scientific method and knowledge of Radiation Protection to the Health Care and Nuclear industries and regulatory bodies.
Description: Program is primarily research oriented with opportunities for study in human performance physiology, exercise rehabilitation, motor behaviour and control, health psychology and biomechanics. One emphasis of the program is research related to the problems encountered by a special populations during physical activity and to the adaptation of human movement to meet the special requirements of these populations.
Description: Particular strengths in mathematics research include geometry and topology, mathematical biology, mathematical finance, mathematical logic and foundations, pure and applied partial differential equations, scientific computation and statistics.

The Nuclear Safety and Technology Micro-credentials provide the fundamental knowledge required for careers in the nuclear industry. The Graduate Academic Certificate in Medical Health Physics & Internal Dosimetry is one of three graduate certificates in the Micro-credential suite and is designed to give the foundational knowledge of the use and safety of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation commonly used in vivo in medicine. This graduate-level micro-credential provides learners with the knowledge to work as Radiation Safety Officers in clinical settings.
