Sneak preview of new teaching and research greenhouse

Construction is nearly complete on the Faculty of Science’s new teaching and research greenhouse. Set to open this spring, the 11,400 sq. ft. greenhouse will be home to thousands of plants plus specialized labs and teaching, learning and community spaces. It’ll be the first building on McMaster’s campus to be heated and cooled by a geothermal system. The current greenhouse, which attracts more than 3,000 visitors annually, will be retired once the new greenhouse opens its doors.
