Many Faculty of Science staff members received recognition and thanks from the University Committee for their outstanding service in 2015. Winners of this year’s President’s Awards for Outstanding Service include Marvin Gunderman, Biology (Lifetime Achievement); Karen Newmann, Chemistry & Chemical Biology (Individual Award); the GMP Testing Activity Team, Chemistry & Chemical Biology (Team Award) and the McMaster Academic Planner (MAP) Launch Team (Team Award). The President’s Awards for Outstanding Service provide annual recognition for employees or groups of employees who have made an outstanding contribution to the mission of McMaster University beyond that normally expected for their position.
