Faculty congratulates latest CFI JELF award holder
Mic Farqharson, School of Interdisciplinary Science, was recently awarded $113,553 from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI) John Evans Leaders Fund (JELF). His project will develop detectors that can be used in operating rooms to allow surgeons to determine the margins of cancer spread during surgery. Farqharson’s research applies x-ray techniques to answer questions and solve problems related to human health.
