The 17 goals are a call to action to end poverty and hunger, protect the planet and help people live healthy lives in peace, equity and prosperity by the end of the decade.

McMaster has placed among the top 20 universities globally by the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking for the past two years. The rankings measure universities contributions in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
