Go Behind The Lab Door With MAC Talks
Karen Mossman was interviewed by Grethen Reynolds for an online talk on April 30 that was watched live by 400 people. The recording of the talk is averaging nearly the same number of views daily.
Gretchen, a New York Times columnist, talks with Karen about how her research team, together with researchers at Sunnybrook and the University of Toronto, isolated the new coronavirus and took an important first step in allowing researchers to develop and test potential treatments and vaccines.
As the Faculty of Science’s first journalist in residence, Gretchen will help further strengthen the media literacy skills of faculty and students.
Mac Talks is a free online lecture series organized by the Alumni Association.
