Program Recognized Program Recognized By International Organization For Preparing Students
McMaster is only the second Canadian university to receive the award which recognizes universities that do exemplary work in preparing students for a career in the property and casualty insurance industry. Judges recognized the program’s focus on property and casualty insurance across its curriculum, research and industry engagement. The program recently added two new property and casualty courses and a data science course. The McMaster/Co-operators workshop offers the 165 students in the program an experiential learning opportunity through solving a real-world problem.
The Casualty Actuarial Society is a leading international organization for credentialing and professional education and serves more than 8,000 members worldwide.
