Grad students in the Physics & Astronomy Department have been delivering talks, lectures, presentations and shows about the total solar eclipse for more than a year. Most had never seen a total solar eclipse in person. And yet, as the minutes ticked down to the April 8 eclipse, the grad students were still at as science champions. They ran the solar telescope viewing station at the Ron Joyce Stadium Viewing Party. Everyone who looked through the telescopes will remember what they saw (and who helped them see it).
