Lifetime Achievement Award for Biology Professor
Congratulations to McMaster University’s Pat Chow-Fraser on receiving the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Association for Great Lakes Research.
Pat was recognized for her decades-long excellence in coastal wetlands research, innovative uses of technology and exemplary mentorship of next generation Great Lakes scientists.
Pat is a Professor in the Department of Biology and the Faculty of Science Research Chair in Great Lakes Ecosystem Health Indicators.
The International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR) is a scientific organization made up of researchers studying the Laurentian Great Lakes, other large lakes of the world, and their watersheds, as well as those with an interest in such research.
