Cara Clairman, President and CEO of Plug’n Drive is the keynote speaker for the McMaster Centre for Climate Change’s spring 2020 public lecture on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. at the McMaster Innovation Park. Cara will highlight the environmental and economic benefits of electric vehicles and review the latest national and international trends. Cara has more than 20 years of experience working in the environmental and sustainability fields, including 12 years at Ontario Power Generation where she served as OPG’s environmental lawyer and Vice President of Sustainable Development. McMaster Assistant Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Gayleen Gray and Cisco Canada President Rola Dagher will lead off a day of interactive learning at the third annual McMaster IT forum Thursday, Feb. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Peter George Centre for Living and Learning.
Canadian singer-songwriter Michelle Titian performs Friday, Feb. 28 at LIVELab. $40 general admission and $15 for students, with $5 from each general admission ticket donated to the Drive Foundation.
