Valedictorian’s last homework assignment – thank Mr. K (VIDEO)

We gave valedictorian Ava Colangelo one final homework assignment before she graduated – thank someone who made a difference in her life. Ava knew exactly who to thank – Mr. K. Paul Kuzcera, a teacher at St. Ann Catholic Elementary in Fenwick, Ontario, encouraged Ava to run for student senate when she was in Grade 4. Ava remained a student leader all through elementary and high school and while she was at McMaster as a physics student.

Not only did Ava write a letter – she read it to Paul during a reunion at St. Ann.
