The School of Geography & Earth Sciences

is an internationally recognized centre of research and training. We offer innovative hands-on lab experiments and field work to provide students with relevant experiences. Students can develop a broad understanding of the links among societal and environmental problems, and how they relate to human health, transportation, urban planning, and environmental policy issues. They can also learn about the earth’s history, environmental and contaminant geochemistry, plant biodiversity and ecology, hydrology and hydrogeology, geographical information science (GIS), and much more.
