Summary
Joint Appointment, Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour My interest in research was piqued through a series of lab experiences as an undergraduate Honours Biology & Psychology student at McMaster. I studied fish ecology, cricket behaviour, human mental health, and finally cell physiology. I decided that cells were my preferred organism and did my PhD in neurobiology at McMaster, studying intra- and intercellular communication in peripheral O2-sensitive cells. As an educator, my main goal is to promote undergraduate neuroscience education; I teach cellular neuroscience courses in the Life Sciences, PNB and Neuroscience Programs. |
