Remembering Pavlos Kanaroglou
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Pavlos Kanaroglou, Professor Emeritus of School of Geography & Earth Sciences. A former Canada Research Chair in Spatial Analysis, Tier 1 (2002-2015) and past chair of the School, Pavlos was an expert in transportation and predicting human behaviour. He was the founder and Director of the McMaster Institute of Transportation and Logistics. Pavlos brought industry, government and academia together to address questions concerning topics ranging from childcare and health care to housing and transportation. He will be greatly missed by his family, colleagues and former students.
