New labs bring research opportunities for students

With the recent opening of the ALLURE (Applied Learning Lab for Undergraduate Research Excellence) and Cell Biology Labs, undergraduate students will see expanding opportunities to conduct research. Chad Harvey, Kim Dej and Rosa da Silva, Biology, spearheaded efforts to create the labs to teach students hands-on research skills using research-grade equipment. The spaces will host traditional lab courses and various independent or team-based research projects over the course of the year, giving more Science students experiential learning opportunities.
