Gillian Goward recognized with national award
Congratulations to McMaster University’s Gillian Goward on receiving the 2023 Gerhard Herzberg Award presented by the Canadian Society for Analytical Sciences and Spectroscopy.
Gillian is Chair of the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology and the Faculty of Science Research Chair in Magnetic Resonance in Materials for Energy Storage. Gillian is an internationally renowned Canadian scientist who studies advanced energy materials using a combination of magnetic resonance spectroscopy and imaging. Her research focuses on characterizing the structures and dynamics of materials for lithium ion batteries, fuel cells, and other alternative energy devices.
