The Senate and Board of Governors of the University have approved the appointment of Maureen MacDonald, currently the Director, School of Interdisciplinary Science, and associate member of Kinesiology, as the new Dean of Science. Provost David Wilkinson cited MacDonald’s vision for the Faculty of Science, her leadership skills and her many years’ commitment and service to McMaster among the reasons for her appointment. She assumes the role of Dean on May 1.
